Good Morning, World 🙂

It’s Sunday. Put on your bunny slippers, pour another cup of coffee, and take a breath. New rule: on Sundays, I’m going to post at whatever time I want. None of this 7am malarky on Sunday’s, no ma’am.

For me, Sunday is a day of peaceful organization. I can spend my time preparing my week, thinking about what I would like to accomplish, and how I can divvy up my time to achieve my objectives. It’s a great time for making to-do lists and setting goals, because shit, here we are, in the second week of May already. Time slips away faster and faster nowadays, so I want to make the most of it.

While I often pressure myself to succeed as a freelance writer and editor, I won’t lie: I have the best job ever. I started this morning by playing with my 7 month-old baby, Felicity, taking a picture of my coffee cup, and writing a public “Good morning!” letter to the world. That’s so much more fun than getting screamed at by petty officers as I hold the plank position. (Wait, what? As of May 8th, you can read my article on my time in the military here:

How do you organize your time? Are you having a relaxing Sunday, or is today already off to a hectic start? Tell me about it 🙂

Take it easy, productively.

  1. Well, Liv, my day was jump started by having to work for awhile. Only about a half day though, so the rest of it is mine! I also plan to take it easy today, although finishing my laundry is a priority. Actually, I did about half of it yesterday as I said I would. Fortunately, I don’t have to go to a Laundromat and waste a good part of my day there. I can relax while I do it and watch some TV or play some games, or whatever. Junk food for the mind, you know? A little junk food doesn’t hurt now and then. I will also try to plan my week and maybe make a list of things I want to accomplish. Sometimes those lists actually get shorter, and sometimes they get longer as the week goes on. Have a great day, and thanks again for posting.

    1. No problem! That sounds like a productive day, get that laundry lol Everyone’s brain has to relax sometimes.

  2. I can’t believe your baby is already 7 months old! Time must be going by so quickly for you. Also, I had no idea you were in the military. I’m sure that was a memorable experience lol

    1. Hi JC! I’m glad you’re still around! 🙂 Yup, I was in the Navy briefly. Definitely not where I belonged, but I learned a lot of important lessons along the way! How have you been?
